This aligns JOOUST's academic offerings with global initiatives such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, African Union Agenda 2063, and Kenya Vision 2030.

Furthermore, ASAR oversees student affairs, nurturing a conducive environment for co-curricular activities including sports, drama, music, and student governance. These activities complement the academic curriculum, providing students with holistic development opportunities and setting JOOUST graduates apart.

Under the ASAR umbrella, the Research Innovation and Outreach initiatives focus on securing and managing grants from various international bodies. This includes impactful projects funded by organizations like the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Flemish inter-university council (VLIR-UOS) in Belgium, and collaborations with renowned Belgian universities.
