Meet our Current Students
I am glad I enrolled in BSc. AGED, it is the best way to enhance the value of your education. My first placement as a trainee teacher was at Kipsigis Girls High School, which is a national school in Kericho, I taught Biology and Agriculture. My second placement was at the KALRO, Sugar Research Institute in Kibos, primarily working as a production supervisor.
The biggest benefits of the AGED programme is you qualify as a TSC teacher and an agricultural change agent. Secondly, the AGED program allows you to explore several different career options.
Finally, the staff at Department are extremely helpful, and they try their very best to ensure that you are content. I would definitely recommend taking BSc. AGED, to develop career paths and valuable skills with practical work in their areas of interest.Outreach Activities
The Department is has a very strong in outreach activities with a number of in-service extension students. The Department has held two successful Agribusiness short courses sponsored under the 2-jiajiri KCB ‘Cage Fish Farming” for youth.
